No two weddings are ever the same, and that's exactly how it should be. Every couple brings their own personality, traditions and vision to their day and the flowers are an important part of telling that story.

When Ciaran and Jonathon first got in touch, they shared their love of timeless white and green florals, along with a deep affection for the magic and warmth of Christmas. They didn't want roses, so together we created designs that reflected their elegant style and the festive atmosphere they wanted their guests to experience.

From abundant fireplace installations overflowing with winter foliage and white blooms to statement ceremony pedestal urns that framed their vows beautifully, very floral detail was thoughtfully designed to feel personal, meaningful and completely theirs.

The result was a romantic winter celebration filled with texture, movement and seasonal charm. A wonderful reflection of Ciaran and Jonathan's love story.

Seeing everything come together was incredibly special, but the most rewarding part is hearing how much it meant to the couple themselves.

"My partner and I engaged Johanna for our wedding celebration in December, and the floral arrangements Johanna created were exceptionally beautiful and contributed significantly to making the day very memorable and special. Following the booking we made with her in January, Johanna arranged several consultations with us, both online and in person, where she listened to our broad ideas for our wedding flowers and very kindly asked us questions which helped us come to specific decisions about what we wanted.

From this, Johanna presented a proposal, using our discussion to conceive wonderful arrangements of flowers as features for our ceremony, drinks reception and wedding breakfast. Johanna also had fantastic ideas, such as making us buttonhole flowers which fitted into our suit top pockets without needing to be pinned - it was Johanna's attention to detail, as well as her kindness, approachability and excellent communication throughout the planning process, which gave us complete confidence in her. On the day of the wedding, Johanna and her team worked tirelessly to set up the flowers beautifully in our venue and returned in the evening to wrap these for our guests to take home with them. The floral arrangements Johanna created will remain in our memories, and those of our guests, as a wonderful feature of our wedding celebration, and we are very grateful to Johanna for all her efforts, which made the day so special for us."

Lush winter foliage filled the aisle, filling the impressive Great room with the wonderful fragrance of winter Christmas pine and gorgeous conifer and winter skimma. For the ceremony two large pedestal urns filled with seasonal winter flowers including stunning Amaryllis, Hydrangea, Nerine, Euphorbia, Wax flower and Honesty. The Great Room is framed by am original series of iconic paintings by James Barry. It was in this room that Alexander Graham Bell first tested his new invention, the telephone.

Individual and personal pocket squares were created for both our Grooms so that these could slip into their pockets and complete their unique look.

Two large baskets of dried confetti allowed guests to each have handfuls for a confetti shower outside the venue. Magnificent mosaic and marble floors, sweeping staircases go between the Great Room and the Benjamin Franklin Room.

The twinkle of Christmas with fairy lights and candles added romance and a wonderful warmth to the Benjamin Franklin room for the drinks reception. The

The Benjamin Franklin room with it's fabulous fireplaces are perfect for statement florals. Gorgeous Georgian grandeur plays host to contemporary style in this room which is beautifully lit with natural light from windows along one side of the room.

Always an honour to be part of our couples special day and lovely to work alongside these fantastic suppliers at RSA House.
