Purple inspired Wedding Flowers

Passionate about flowers we specialize in Weddings and Events, creating beautiful bespoke flowers that reflect the personality and style of each of my couples.

It was such a pleasure to work with my lovely couple Mihaela and Dean who loved flowers and wanted to weave their favourite colour of purple through their Wedding in July. Purple is a very strong passionate colour and it also happened to be this years 2018 Pantone colour of the Year. For the flowers we chose a beautiful palette of soft and lush lilac and lavender shades through to purple to enhance and complement the other elements of their Wedding day giving a harmonious look.

Wedding flowers conditioned and enjoying a good drink

We order and collect our Wedding flowers from our trusted flower suppliers in the days leading up to a Wedding. It is important that flowers are conditioned in our studio before we work with them, they enjoy a good drink to fully Hydrate. Some flowers take longer to open than others so we often make a few trips to our Flower Wholesalers to purchase flowers so that they all our flowers are at the perfect stage of opening for your Wedding day.

Reception flower filled vases for the Reception tables

For the reception tables we used fish bowl style vases so that we could fill these with a gorgeous selection of flowers in a lush lilac and purple palette. Flowers included Hydrangea, Roses, Lissianthus, Freesia, Clematis, Foliage and Flowering mint.

The biggest thanks to Mihaela and Dean for sharing photos of their special day and for their lovely feedback after the Wedding.

Some of the photos above are taken by Damian Wedding Photography (their professional Wedding Photographer) on the day and some photos taken by myself in the studio whilst creating with this beautiful bold palette.

I really do work with the best couples and it was so lovely to get to know them both in the months leading up to their Wedding and create their Floral Dream for a very special Wedding Day.
