These Terms and Conditions cover the products and service provided by Johanna Pedrick Flowers.
Johanna Pedrick Flowers Products and Service
All Johanna Pedrick Flowers products are subject to availability. In the event of any supply difficulties, Johanna Pedrick Flowers reserve the right to substitute a formerly agreed ingredient within the design of equivalent value and quality without notice. This includes specific flowers/ plants and sundries that may not be available. I would stress that flowers and plant material are natural products and colours may differ/ be unavailable to those agreed but we will always provide the next best thing.
Johanna Pedrick Flowers will not produce identical flowers or designs to the photos that you send in or designs discussed due to availability of flowers but these will be used as inspiration.
Deposit
Prices listed within the Johanna Pedrick Flowers initial estimate quotation will remain valid for 14 days from the date sent to you and should be secured with a minimum £300.00 booking fee, this secures your Wedding Date. If for any reason you decide to cancel your wedding this deposit is non-refundable. However, if you decide to postpone your wedding, we will hold your deposit until the wedding goes ahead. The minimum £300.00 booking fee is subtracted from your final invoice. Payment of deposit is an acknowledgement of Terms and Conditions.
Quotation and Payment
To book your wedding flowers with Johanna Pedrick Flowers a minimum booking fee of £300.00 must be paid to secure your Wedding date. Prices will be secured for the event unless the ingredients or components for the designs change. The initial quote will give you a guide as you may make changes closer to the wedding day in terms of type of arrangement and quantity.
Half payment is required two months before with full payment being made one month before the wedding. Payment is accepted by BACS transfer.
Full payment must be received prior to the event and no less than 3 weeks before the event or we will not go ahead with the event.
Hired Items
A ‘clear down’ fee will be charged to the Customer should the venue require Johanna Pedrick Flowers to carry away items at the venue after the event.
All hired items must be returned to Johanna Pedrick Flowers and any breakages will be charged to the Customer. Equipment hired (bottles, plinths, candelabras, vases etc) remain the property of Johanna Pedrick Flowers. If we are required to do a ‘clear down’ at the venue we will remove all our hired items and remove any flowers left behind.
Delivery
Johanna Pedrick Flowers charges for travel at a set cost depending on the location distance from our studio. For travel times over 60 minutes, a rate of £25.00 per hour will be charged.
Flowers will be delivered or set up at a time prior agreed between Johanna Pedrick Flowers and you. Any queries must be raised within 30 minutes of delivery by telephoning 07512 702246.
Event set up
Johanna Pedrick Flowers will personally create your flowers, and her dedicated team will deliver and set up. We will confirm our set up times with your venue as well.
Johanna Pedrick Flowers accept no responsibility for any damage caused by flames or lit candles at an event once we have left the wedding set up. Whilst Johanna Pedrick Flowers provide candles and candle vessels, it is usually the caterer and/ or venue staff that light them and we will not therefore be held accountable for any damage caused by them.
Johanna Pedrick Flowers accept no responsibility for failure to collect, wear or use any arrangements for specific use by the bridal party, ie buttonholes or bouquets, once they have been left by our team at the relevant- and pre-agreed- venue.
Cancellation of the Johanna Pedrick Flowers products or service
Cancellation of the Johanna Pedrick Flowers products or service must be notified as soon as reasonably possible. Any deposit paid will be retained regardless of the circumstances of the cancellation. If a cancellation of the agreement is received within 28 days prior to the event no moneys received will be refunded. Complete cancellation must be advised in writing and signed by the customer.
Third party products or service
Johanna Pedrick Flowers hire in many items for use in event floristry. All items are checked thoroughly and mint condition is ensured. However, if an item were to break, crack or cause injury to a 3rd party or individual then Johanna Pedrick Flowers will accept no responsibility. We will provide full contact details of the hirer and from there, the dispute is to be settled between you and the supplier of said faulty item.
Social media and the use of images of your flowers
Johanna Pedrick Flowers reserves the right to take photographs of flowers and the setting prior to the wedding which may be used for promotional purposes. We will always post an image, taken by us, following the day after your event. Following this, we will then may share more photographs and details of the flowers in the form of a blog post which will be posted on our website and social media profiles. We will send you copies of the images we have taken should you require them.
Disclaimer- Ill health, Acts of God or adverse weather conditions
Whilst we agree to use our reasonable endeavours to ensure that the Johanna Pedrick Flowers Service is fully operational and error-free we cannot guarantee this. Acts of God, sudden ill health and adverse weather conditions may affect our ability to deliver the Johanna Pedrick Flowers product or service. However, in cases of adverse weather we will remain in contact with you in the lead up to the event. We have contingency plans for such the Terms and Conditions as listed herewith, by paying a deposit and proceeding with the booking you are entering into a contract and therefore agree to these Terms and Conditions.
On occasions of sudden ill health. If Johanna Pedrick Flowers is unable to personally complete or deliver your event, then this will be completed by a member of our in-house team or outsourced accordingly. Ultimately, we can accept no responsibility for Acts of God, sudden ill health or adverse weather conditions and if we are prevented from providing the Johanna
Pedrick Flowers service or product as agreed, then we can only offer a refund of full monies paid.
General
We reserve the right to supplement and amend the Terms and Conditions of Johanna Pedrick Flowers product or service from time to time. We will inform you of any changes to the Johanna Pedrick Flowers Terms and Conditions.
